My coworker asked me earlier this week if we had anything going on this weekend. A family friend had passed away and they had no one to watch their little guy while they went to the funeral. We just think he's so much fun and know that soon we'll be asking for those kinds of favors, so of course I said we'd do it.
We just spent the last 4 hours playing away -- from sorting objects to bowling to banging on bowls to reading books and doing puzzles! Needless to say, we are EXHAUSTED. I think we'll both be taking naps this afternoon before we head over to spend the evening with his parents. The highlight of his day was looking out the window at the "SNOW!" He was also quite helpful - I did 4 loads of laundry while he assisted with loading the dryer and attempting to fold the clothes. Seeing how awesome Benny was with him made me even more excited for our little Poppy to get here. Here's some pics I captured from our fun-filled morning with the little man:
