Yesterday was a holiday .. I guess. Some people just LOVE Valentine's Day, others absolutely dread it, and quite frankly I'm indifferent. But, celebrate we must! I asked for no gifts and in lieu of flowers, I wanted to go shopping. My growing belly has outgrown pretty much all my pants and I am not resisting the maternity clothes - bring them on. So we spent the day on Saturday in Minnesota getting some new clothes and some stuff for the house. It was nice to just be together doing something. And for the record, I never want to wear pre-pregnancy clothes again. Maternity clothes are SO comfy!
We got each other a card and I don't think either card could've been more perfect. I decided I'd make Benny a fancy little meal for supper and get dressed up rather than going out and spending money at a restaurant. The meal was delicious. My favorite part was drinking milk out of a wine glass!

I wish I could "like" this post, so instead I will comment. :)
ReplyDeleteI wear maternity jeans around the house! Just because they are so comfy! I wear a size lower than what I wear when I'm super huge, so they fit just fine when I'm not preggers! But I put on my normal jeans when we run errands! :) Stay at home Moms need to be comfy!
ReplyDeleteI didn't really know what to expect, but I put the first pair on and it was love! Haha. I seriously have never been more comfortable in my life. I was getting so uncomfortable in my normal jeans/work pants and I saw no reason to be uncomfortable. My belly is growing very quickly, so I needed to get some because obviously it's not going to stop anytime soon. And the first day I wore them I asked Ashlee if she could tell they weren't "regular" jeans and she had no idea. My coworker said she wore maternity pants to work until her son was 6 months old and then finally decided it was time to give them up .. I feel like I'll do the same! ha. I bought them all cheap on clearance so it wasn't too bad, and I can save them for the next pregnancy!
